Welcome to Demystifying RFID. This is a blog created to publish the documentation associated with an Independent Study course at Parsons School of Design in 2008.

The general public at this point in time is not even aware of what Radio Frequency Identification [RFID] is. The few who have heard of it before only know of the animal tracking tags. Very few people realize there is a great chance an RFID chip sits in their wallet in their VISA, Mastercard, or American Express card. Keyless entry system in your car? RFID on your keychain.
