E-Passports

E-Passports are sprouting up all aroun the glove and they all feature an RFID chip inside. At the U.S. Department of State website’s Frequently Asked Questions page one will find, “To ensure that only authorized RFID readers can read data, Basic Access Control stores a pair of secret cryptographic keys in the passport chip.” Now it has been proven that e-passports can be hacked and cloned, but the U.S. passport has not been broken yet.
